Backup your email

Your hard drive WILL crash. It is not a matter of if; it is a matter of when. This is why effective backups are so important. Do you backup your email, contact list, and calendar from Outlook? What would you loose if your computer crashed this very moment? So much of our business today revolves around email, and it is actually quite easy to back it up.

Backing up your Personal Folder file in Outlook
If you want to create a .pst containing Outlook items but still keep the original data in your default folders, Export (copy) items to a Personal Folders file (.pst). You can only export one folder at a time, but you can include the subfolders under that folder. For example, you can export your entire [Mailbox - Username] including all subfolders. If you export items based on .lis files to a .pst file, multilingual functionality will be lost.
