Netscape Communicator Setup

Step 1: Open Netscape Communicator

 

Step 2: Select Edit from the Menu Bar on the top

 

Step 3: Select Preferences...

 

Step 4: Click on Mail + Newsgroups and Select the Mail Servers option.

 

Step 5: Select from the top right of the window...

 

Step 6: You should now be in the Mail Server Properties window.

• Server Name is mail.yourdomain.com
• Server Type is a POP3 server.
• You should have received a username and password from us.
• The User Name is your username only (i.e. yourname). If you do not have this information then please contact us.
• Make sure that you check the checkbox to Remember Password.

 

Step 7: Click OK
You should be back at the Preferences window.

Outgoing mail (SMTP) server is provided by your Internet Service Provider (ISP). This information does not need to change at all, so if there is already information in here, simply leave it.

If you do not know this information contact your ISP.

 

Step 8: Click OK to complete your Email Setup.
